The name Auraliya evokes the aura of the elephant, combining “Aura” and “Aliya” the Sinhalese for elephant. Auraliya is a stunning, newly built, luxury beach villa which is ideal for families and larger groups. Located on a lovely safe swimming beach its built around a sumptuous turquoise swimming pool. High ceilings and white terrazzo floors give an airy, cool and fresh feel. Adjoining the villa is a large garden with frangipani trees and coconut palms, ideal for children to play in and designed complete with elephant bath for visiting pachyderms. There are 2 master suites with “elephant” beds measuring 8 ft x 8 ft. 2 large double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms. All bedrooms are air conditioned and all beds are 4 poster, fitted with mosquito nets. There is an air-conditioned sitting room with cable TV, an open-air dining pavilion overlooking the swimming pool and a chill-out pavilion for lazy afternoons.
